A Couple Dinosaur Theme Party Games:

Dinosaur Party Games can be fun romps for the guests, especially if you find some that fit the dinosaur party theme perfectly.

Our first game is called ‘Pass the Bone’. It’s a variation on ‘Pass the Orange’, but is just as fun and maybe a little easier to play. You’ll need one largish rawhide bone for the guests to pass around. Each player is a T-Rex eating dinner at this Dinosaur party. They are surprisingly nice to each other and share food, but their arms are so short they have to pass bones with by holding them under their chins. They don’t share with their mouths because they could cut each other with their teeth, besides you don’t want to have to bite into a slobbered on rawhide bone.

So the players get into a circle or a line and have to pass the bone to each other by holding it between their chin and their chest. Anyone who drops the bone is kicked out of the dinosaur party game, and anyone who passes the bone with something other than their chin and neck is also kicked out of the meal. To make this competitive you can split the group into two teams and have each team try to pass a bone from one end of the line to the other and the first to finish wins.

The second game, ‘Blind Run’ is just a fun game to be played at a outside dinosaur party. Everyone will take turns being a dinosaur running from the meteor that is about to hit the earth and wipe out the dinos. You’ll need a large group for this so the runner can run a good distance. Have the group form two lines with their arms stretched forwards towards the other line. The running dinosaur will run through this gamut with their eyes closed. Why? Because there is so much dust being kicked up by the meteor that the dinosaur can’t see. Its up to the others in the line to hold out their hands and help guid the dinosaur in a straight line through the gamut. When the runner has reached the end you can yell for them to stop. This will make a great game for the guests to use up extra energy at your dinosaur themed party.
